The honoree’s biography is limited to 800 characters, including spaces, and may include life experience, family, education, military service, and other accomplishments about the honoree. An example is provided below for your review.
Sgt. John Doe was born July 23, 1945, in Kansas City, MO, and later moved to Jefferson City. The youngest of two sons, graduated in 1963 from William Chrisman High in Independence, MO, and was inducted into the United States Army in 1966. He fought in the Vietnam War as a Field Wireman and Lineman. Among other awards, Sgt. Doe was awarded certificate of achievement for Outstanding and Meritorious Performance of Duty following a Viet Cong attack. He received honorable discharge in December 1972. Following military service, John was employed at Missouri Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Local 15 for forty years. John met the love of his life, Jane, and together they had one son. In 2019, John passed after retiring his trowel in 2010 to enjoy time with his beloved family.
