MoDOT held a public hearing from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 to discuss proposed improvements to Route 95 in Mountain Grove. The public hearing information, including an opportunity to comment, is available at the link below. Please share your thoughts no later than Dec. 5.

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission has announced the selection of The Ames Team as the design-build contractor to replace the Chester Bridge. The bridge spans the Mississippi River, connecting the cities of Perryville, Missouri and Chester, Illinois via Missouri Route 51/Illinois Route 150.

As a main east-west corridor in Missouri’s Bootheel, U.S. Route 412 carries more than 6,000 vehicles a day. Currently, the existing four-lane upgrades end near Cardwell, Missouri, and U.S. 412 returns to a two-lane road. To plan for future capacity improvements, the Missouri Department of Transportation has launched an Environmental Study.
