MoDOT will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the completion of the interchange and intersection safety improvements at the U.S. 63/36 interchange in the City of Macon at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026 on the Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners dealership lot, located on the northeast corner in Macon, MO.

The MO 47 roadway widening project, located between Hawk Point and Troy, will be completed in an effort to improve safety and the overall condition and efficiency of the corridor. Planned improvements will realign two curves in the corridor and allow for the addition of paved shoulders, intersection improvements and pavement resurfacing.

The U.S. Route 61 interchange improvement project in Lincoln County, located at the Routes B and E intersection near Auburn, will increase capacity for economic growth and the safety of motorists utilizing these U.S. 61 crossings in Lincoln County.
