SIKESTON―Route O in Mississippi County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform asphalt overlay.
This section of roadway is located from County Road 219 to County Road 214 near Charleston, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, July 1 through Friday, Aug. 1 from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. While work is underway, flaggers will be in place to guide traffic.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
