LEES SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation received Statements of Qualifications from teams interested in competing for the contract to design and construct the Improve I-70 Kansas City Design-Build Project. This project will improve a five-mile stretch of Interstate 70 between The Paseo Blvd. and US 40/31St St. in Kansas City. Two teams have been selected to begin developing the proposals for the project.
The pre-qualified teams are:
- Clarkson-Radmacher Joint Venture: Clarkson Construction Company and Radmacher Brothers Excavating Company with HNTB Corporation
- Lunda Team: Lunda Construction Company with Parsons
MoDOT will issue the Request for Proposals later this month. The proposals are due in late June with selection of the Best Value Proposer in early August.
