Cooper County Route O over Moniteau Creek to close for deck replacement

Bridge expected to close for up to 90 days

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Cooper County Route O over Moniteau Creek will close for up to 90 days beginning Monday, June 24, for a bridge deck replacement. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route during this time.

The project includes replacing the bridge deck, bridge painting, replacing the roadway approaches to the bridge and placing rock on the slopes adjacent to the bridge.

All work is weather-permitting and subject to change.

MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
