The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is requesting project applications for consideration in the Regional Bridge Program for off-system structures. The Regional Bridge Program replaces the previous BRO program and will be funded using BRO funds and new funds available thru the Bridge Formula Program (BFP). With this program call, approximately $48.5 million of federal bridge funds will be available for projects for federal fiscal year (FFY) 2026.
Eligible Bridges are included on the 2024 BRO Eligible Bridge List with an estimate of replacement cost.

Applications are due to the respective District Office by Friday, November 15, 2024. Applications will be reviewed and scored by regional bridge committees and then selected based on available funds. Final decisions on selected projects are anticipated to be announced in mid-January 2025.
Local Public Agencies (LPAs) that reside within the Metropolitan Planning Organization of East-West Gateway are not eligible for this program call. East-West Gateway conducts a separate process that will be used for selecting projects within their region.
