Where: Greene County Route OO/Missouri Route 125 CLOSED in both directions, east of Washington Street in Strafford
When: Postponed, to be rescheduled
What: Crews to install three (3) pipes on Greene County Route OO/Missouri Route 125 as part of the Missouri Route 125 Intersection Improvements Project in Strafford. This work was scheduled for September 8-11, but has been postponed due to construction delays. A news release, social media posts, and message boards will announce the new closure date in the near future.
Traffic Impacts:
- Greene County Route OO/Missouri Route 125 CLOSED in both directions, east of Washington Street in Strafford
- Drivers will have access to driveways and entrances at either end of the work zone, but will not be able to travel through the work zone
- No signed detours, drivers urged to find alternate routes
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays could alter the work schedule.
Project Information:
- Contractor: Hartman & Company Inc., Springfield
- The awarded construction cost is $6.2 million.
- The project is scheduled for completion on May 22, 2026.
