This project extends across multiple jurisdictions and holds significant importance for the local communities of Kansas City and Independence, as well as for travelers who commute through the corridor. The setting of this project, throughout an urban corridor, provides a unique opportunity to improve accessibility and safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists alike. This project seeks to enhance connectivity, safety, and quality of life for all community members involved.
