Multiple Lane Closures Scheduled for Next Week along I-435 from Three Trails Crossing to State Line Road
JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation crews are completing critical concrete paving work over the next week that will impact I-435.
REMINDER: The inside left lane of eastbound I-435 will REMAIN CLOSED until Monday Aug. 26. The southbound State Line Road entrance ramp to eastbound I-435 also remains closed. When complete, traffic will return to a new configuration of four continuous lanes.

In addition, crews will close the following lanes for pavement construction throughout the week:
Friday, August 23: Crews will CLOSE a second lane on eastbound I- 435 from State Line Road to the Blue River Bridge from 7 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday. for new pavement construction.
Sunday, August 25: Crews will CLOSE both northbound and southbound Wornall Road between the I-435 on ramps from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. to remove bridge forms.
Monday, August 26 through Friday August 30: Crews will CLOSE the left inside lane of eastbound I-435 from State Line Road to the Blue River Bridge from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. for new pavement construction.
Monday, August 26 and Wednesday, August 28: Crews will CLOSE the inside left lane on westbound I-435 from Three Trails to Holmes Road from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for new pavement construction. On Wednesday night only, the lane will reopen for rush hour then TWO lanes will close at 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. for new pavement construction.
In addition, on Monday through Wednesday night, crews will nightly CLOSE both northbound and southbound Holmes Road between the I-435 ramps from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. for bridge demolition.

This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project which will replace the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitate the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, upgrade the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane.
