JEFFERSON COUNTY- Crews will close all lanes of northbound and southbound Interstate 55 south of Route Z on Sunday, October 27 from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.
Ameren crews will be relocating a transmission line that crosses Interstate 55 south of the Route Z interchange.
A signed detour will direct drivers on Interstate 55 to exit at the I-55/Route Z interchange or the I-55/McNutt Road interchange and use Route 61/67 to bypass the closed section of Interstate 55.
