St. Louis Work Zones February 27-March 5
ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use Route H (Riverview) near I-270 should be aware that the roadway will be closed under the interstate this weekend to demolish the old interstate bridges over Route H.
Crews will close both directions of Route H Friday, February 28 at 7 p.m. At the same time, they will also close the right lane of eastbound I-270 to help with merging detour traffic. All lanes reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, March 3.
Southbound Route H traffic can use Dunn Road, Lilac and eastbound I-270 to detour around the closure. Northbound Route H traffic can use eastbound I-270, travel to Illinois Route 3, cross over to westbound I-270 and then use Lilac and Dunn to get to northbound Route H.
In addition, drivers who use I-70 in St. Charles County overnight should be aware of upcoming work.
Weather permitting, crews will close up to two lanes of westbound I-70 between Belleau Creek and Spencer Creek overnight Thursday and Friday:
- Thursday, February 27, at 8 p.m., crews will close up to two left lanes at Spencer Creek, and then move to the two right lanes. Lanes should reopen by 5 a.m. Friday, February 28.
- Friday, February 28, at 8 p.m., crews will close up to two left lanes at Spencer Creek and Route 370 and then shift to the two right lanes. Lanes should reopen by 5 a.m. Saturday, March 1.
