JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – One lane of eastbound Interstate 70 will close for bridge maintenance near mile marker 93. Local crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) plan to close the eastbound passing (left-hand, inside) lane of I-70 at the Lamine River in Cooper County on Thursday, March 27. The lane is expected to be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. During that time, a 14-foot width restriction will be in place through the work zone. Motorists should proceed with caution, slow down, and be prepared for delays.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones.
