ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use northbound I-55 in the city of St. Louis should be aware of on upcoming overnight closure on the interstate this weekend.

The closures will allow crews to place concrete for the driving surface of the new bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad between River Des Peres and Loughborough. All work is weather permitting.

Crews will close northbound I-55 at Carondelet/River City Boulevard (Exit 202A) Friday, April 4, starting at 9 p.m.  Detour traffic will turn right on River City Boulevard, follow it to Broadway and turn left on Broadway and follow it back to the interstate.  Two northbound lanes will reopen by 9 a.m. Saturday, April 5.
