SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on April 1. Awarded contracts included on-call asphalt and concrete repairs and bridge and pavement improvements.
Projects awarded include:
- A contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., Cape Girardeau, Mo., for on-call asphalt repairs on Interstate 55 and Interstate 57 in Cape Girardeau, Perry, Ste. Genevieve and Scott Counties.
- A contract was awarded to Fronabarger Concreters, Inc., Oak Ridge, Mo., for on-call concrete repairs on Interstate 55 and Interstate 57 in Perry, Cape Girardeau, Ste. Genevieve and Scott Counties.
- A contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., Cape Girardeau, Mo., for on-call asphalt repairs on Interstate 55 and Interstate 155 in New Madrid, Pemiscot and Scott Counties.
- A contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., Cape Girardeau, Mo., for on-call concrete repairs on Interstate 55 and Interstate 155 in Pemiscot, New Madrid and Scott Counties.
- A $194,670 contract was awarded to Fronabarger Concreters, Inc., Oak Ridge, Mo., for paving and the addition of turn lanes on Routes 61 and K in Scott County.
- A $352,888 contract was awarded to Fronabarger Concreters, Inc., Oak Ridge, Mo., for paving and adding a turn lane on at McCullah Drive on Route 61 in Scott County.
- A $1,072,955 contract was awarded to Penzel Construction Company, Inc., Jackson, Mo., for a bridge replacement over Little Whitewater Creek Bridge west of Patton Junction and resurfacing work between Route HH and Route 51 on Route 72 in Bollinger County.
- A $1,687,358 contract was awarded to H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC, Van Buren, Mo., for improvements to Route Y from Route 25 to the Union Pacific railroad crossing in Stoddard County.
