SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on June 3.
The projects awarded:
- A $556,616 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Co., Cape Girardeau, Mo., for improvements to Route K from Siemers Drive to Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau. The project includes overlaying Route K with a three-fourth inch ultrathin asphalt bonded wearing surface. Funding for this project was received through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
