SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on Dec. 2. Awarded contracts included bridge and pavement improvements.
The project awarded includes:
- A $1,545,662 contract was awarded to G & M Concrete & Asphalt Co., Inc., Troy, Mo., for improvements to Route 67 in Madison County. The project includes diamond grinding and resurfacing from the St. Francois County line to south of Route 72 near Fredericktown.
- A $478,424 contract was awarded to Penzel Construction Company Inc., Jackson, Mo., for improvements to the Route 51 bridge over Bois Brule Creek near McBride in Perry County. The project includes replacing the existing deck of the Bois Brule Creek Bridge.
