SIKESTON - The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for Southeast District projects during its regular meeting on Oct. 6. Awarded contracts included installation of guardrail and installation of shoulders and rumble stripes.
Projects awarded include:
- A $93,362 contract was awarded to Freedom Fence, LLC, Belgrade, Mo., to install guardrail on Interstate 55 in Scott County.
- A $519,670 contract was awarded to Park-Mark, Inc., St. Louis, Mo., for improvements to Route 67 in Wayne County. The project includes adding rumble strips and striping to the new Route 67 pavement.
