CASS COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct overnight lane closures on Interstate 49 for pavement work. See below for traffic modifications:
Friday, May 8 at approximately 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Saturday, May 9:
- Lane closures on southbound I-49 at mile marker 164.6 south of Route C.
- Lane closures on southbound I-49 at mile marker 162.4 south of Overpass Road.
Saturday, May 9 at approximately 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Sunday, May 10 and Monday, May 11 at approximately 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12:
- Lane closures on southbound I-49 at Route B and mile marker 148.2.
- Lane closures on northbound I-49 at Route B and mile marker 148.2.
All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
