Help Clean Up Missouri and Sponsor A Highway
Missouri's Sponsor-A-Highway program is now available statewide, providing an expanded opportunity to keep roadsides cleaner and safer across the entire state. Most highways in Missouri are included in the Sponsor-A-Highway program, with the vast majority of roadway miles open for sponsorship.
Businesses, organizations, community groups and individuals can sponsor one-mile highway sections statewide through an approved service provider, Adopt-A-Highway Litter Removal Service of America, Inc., to handle litter removal and related maintenance on their behalf.
Each sponsored roadway is serviced at least once per month, or more frequently as needed. In recognition of their support, sponsors receive Sponsor-A-Highway signage displaying their name and logo along the designated stretch of highway.
Adopt-A-Highway Litter Removal Service of America, Inc. has been operating since 1989 and currently provides services in 18 additional states. Missouri's Sponsor-A-Highway program was launched by MoDOT in 2008.
