The checklists on this page will help you gather needed information. 

• IRP APPORTIONED LICENSE PLATE & IFTA LICENSE CHECKLIST
  
  Choose this list if you plan to operate in Missouri and at least one other state. When you complete the checklist, you'll be ready to apply as a Missouri interstate motor carrier.
• IFTA LICENSE-ONLY CHECKLIST
  
  Choose this list if you operate using Missouri Local, Beyond Local, Dealer or F-Tab farm plates, but cross state lines in pursuit of commerce. 
• OVERSIZE OVERWEIGHT LOAD PERMITTING CHECKLIST
  
  Choose this list if you seek to move a load that exceeds Missouri's legal weight and/or dimensions.

When you've completed the forms and gathered needed information, email it to us at contactMCS@modot.mo.gov.

Use a subject line such as "New Account - (Your company name)". We'll open and work on your application in the order it was received. 

When your application is processed, we will contact you to provide your UserID and password for MoDOT Carrier Express, our online office.
