JEFFERSON CITY, Mo – Laclede County Route B bridge over the Osage Fork of the Gasconade River is now open! Construction crews completed replacing the bridge deck and reopened the road to all traffic Nov. 19, 2024, ahead of the anticipated Dec. 1 completion date.
Crews from E & C Bridge, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, closed Route B over Osage Fork on Aug. 26. Built in 1964, the supporting structures of the bridge are in good condition. The driving surface, however, had deteriorated, was in poor condition, and needed to be replaced.
