Project Summary

This project will make improvements to the existing pedestrian facilities and sidewalks along 2.5 miles of Route D (Page Ave.) between Oak Ave. (just east of US-67) and Innerbelt Business Center Dr. (just west of I-170) in St. Louis County.  In addition, the signalized intersection at Page Industrial Blvd. will be reconstructed. A separate project will be completed to address pavement improvements in the area.

  • Non-compliant Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramps and entrances
  • Narrow sidewalks
  • Aging signals at Page Industrial Blvd.

Is MoDOT purchasing property from landowners?

MoDOT will need to purchase some property and/or obtain temporary easements in order to construct the additional sidewalks and ADA improvements.  A Right of Way representative will be contacting affected landowners to begin the acquisition process. 

How much will this project cost?

The cost of construction is estimated at $3 million.

How can I provide input on the project?

An interactive map and survey were available to stakeholders Sept. 9 - Oct. 4, 2024.  A public meeting will be held Nov. 13, 2025. The meeting will be held at the Overland Community Center, 9225 Lackland Rd., 63114.
