MoDOT to Hold Open House Style Public Meeting for Route N Improvements March 4
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and St. Charles County invite the public to an open house-style meeting to discuss the Route N Expansion Project, as well as review the Hopewell/Duello (funded) intersection signalization. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at National Equestrian Center, 6880 Lake St Louis Blvd, Lake St Louis, MO 63367.
The Route N Expansion Project is a vital effort to address local and regional traffic growth, enhance safety, and plan for future development. At the meeting, attendees will:
- Review conceptual layouts (Unfunded future improvements)
- Review Hopewell/Duello intersection signalization (Funded)
- Learn about the project’s progress and timeline.
- Provide input on proposed designs and improvements.
No formal presentations will be made during the open house-style meeting. Attendees can stop by at any time during the meeting to view the project details and speak with representatives from MoDOT, St. Charles County and project consultants.

Public hearings scheduled for second Improve I-70 construction project from Warrenton to Wentzville
The public is invited to a public hearing regarding the Improve I-70: Warrenton to Wentzville project from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, in Wentzville. This is the second construction project in MoDOT’s Statewide Improve I-70 Program and will add a third lane of travel in each direction to Interstate 70 from Warrenton to Wentzville. The Warrenton to Wentzville project includes the Improve I-70 funding and additional legislatively designated General Revenue funding. It also includes previously allocated funds in the state’s program for other I-70 and I-64 projects for a total contract cost of $600 million.
This meeting will highlight the basic design plans, construction phasing, schedule, and other detailed information about the project. Construction is expected to start in Spring 2025 and be completed by late 2028.
The open house-style hearing will provide the opportunity for nearby residents, businesses, and travelers to learn about and provide comments regarding the planned improvements. No formal presentation will be made. The public can attend the meeting any time between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Engineers from the Missouri Department of Transportation and the Improve 70 Alliance contractor team of Emery Sapp and Sons, Clarkson Construction, HNTB, and Bartlett and West will be on hand to answer questions.
Written and recorded oral statements and exhibits can be submitted at the hearing. People can also review materials and make comments on the project website beginning on Monday, Feb. 3, at www.modot.org/improvei70/warrentonwentzville. All comments must be received by Thursday, March 6.

- Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Progress Park Recreation Center located at 968 Meyer Rd. Wentzville, MO 63385.
The planned improvements from contractor team includes:
- Constructing a third lane in each direction on I-70 from Warrenton to I-64 in Wentzville, including replacing the existing I-70 lanes with new full-depth concrete pavement.
- Interchange improvements at I-70 and the I-64/Route 61 interchange.
- Interchange and outer road improvements in Foristell, Wright City, Warrenton, and at Route Z.
- Realignment at the railroad bridge on I-70 between Wentzville Parkway and Route Z.
- Addition of a third lane of travel to eastbound and westbound I-64 between I-70 and Route K.
- The team has also committed to keeping two lanes of travel open on I-70 in both directions during peak travel times.
MoDOT Hosts Route 67 (I-70 to Page) Public Meeting Jan. 29
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has scheduled an open-house style public meeting for its Route 67 (Lindbergh Blvd.) corridor upgrades project. The meeting will be held Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 4-6 p.m. at the St. Ann Community Center, 1 Community Center Dr. 63074. The meeting will focus on plans for improvement of Route 67 between I-70 and Route D (Page Ave.) Planned improvements include resurfacing the existing roadway, updating the corridor's pedestrian infrastructure to meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements, reconstructing traffic signals and replacing signage. MoDOT held two public meetings to discuss I-44 bridge maintenance Oct 15, Oct 17
MoDOT held two public meetings to talk about plans for maintenance on a lot of bridges along the I-44 corridor between Nebraska (in the city) to Fox Creek, west of Six Flags. MoDOT Hosts Public Meeting October 10 on Route 367 Safety and Operations Findings
The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) held a public meeting for its Route 367 traffic safety and operations study on Thursday, Oct. 10. The Route 367 study examined contributing factors to rising crash patterns and identified potential solutions to improve safety within the corridor, from south of I-270 to just north of the Halls Ferry Circle. The public meeting shared the results of the study and explain the anticipated benefits of the proposed improvements. MoDOT hosts Route P and Koch Road intersection open-house style
public meeting October 8
The Missouri Department of Transportation held an informational open-house style public meeting about planned improvements to the Route P and Koch Road intersection October 8.
The public meeting took place at the O’Fallon City Hall multi-purpose room located at 100 Main Street, O’Fallon, MO 63366. No formal presentations will be made during the open house-style meeting.
Traffic on Koch Road has grown to the point that the Route P and Koch Road intersection needs an improvement to provide safer, more efficient access in and out for motorists. Residents and the city of O’Fallon have encouraged MoDOT to reduce the speed limit on the eastern portion of this highway. MoDOT to Host Route 47 Conceptual Study Public Meeting, Sept. 24

Route 100 in the city of St. Louis, June 25
The Missouri Department of Transportation held an open house-style public meeting to share plans for a project starting in 2025 that resurfaces the roadway between I-55 and the city limits and addresses some safety concerns along the corridor. These concerns were gathered during two previous public meetings about this section of Route 100. I-55 Corridor Improvements Public Meeting in Jefferson County on Nov. 16
MoDOT will host an open-house style public meeting to share preliminary information about the goals, problems with corridor and traffic, and allow the public to ask questions about the project. Route 67 RSA Public Meeting Scheduled Oct. 10
MoDOT will hold an open-house style public meeting to share data from the Route 67 Road Safety Assessment (RSA) on Tuesday, Oct. 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the West Alton City Hall, 111 Richard Dr., West Alton, MO 63386. Attendees will have the opportunity to assist in identifying problems and sharing their views, which will be considered in the development and selection of future improvements for the Route 67 corridor between the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers. In this area, Route 231 follows Telegraph between Franru and Laredo, Kingston Drive between Laredo and Grant Road, and South Broadway between Grant Road and the city limits. Public Information Meeting Held to Share Route 100 Project Traffic Study Results

Manchester Road (I-270 to Route 141) public meeting
The Missouri Department of Transportation held an open house-style public meeting December 7 to share information about an upcoming project in 2024. The project will replace culverts over Great Glaize Creek and Glaize Creek, renovate the bridges at I-270 and Des Peres Road, update sidewalks and signals within the corridor, and resurface the roadway between Ballas and west of Route 141.

Watson Road public meeting
The Missouri Department of Transportation held an open house-style public meeting to share information about an upcoming project along Watson Road (Route 366) in 2024. The project will replace a bridge over Gravois Creek, update sidewalks and signals within the corridor, and resurface the roadway between Geyer Road and the St. Louis city limits.

Public Meetings to Reveal Preliminary Design for I-55 Corridor Improvements Project
The Missouri Department of Transportation hosted two public information meetings to share preliminary designs for I-55 from north of Route Z near Pevely to one mile south of U.S. 67 near Crystal City and Festus.
The first meeting was held on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at the Festus Public Library, 400 West Main Street, Festus, MO 63028. The second meeting was held via Zoom on Thursday, Oct. 6.

Public Meeting Scheduled for Route M Project on Aug. 31
The Missouri Department of Transportation held an open-house style public meeting for the Route M project from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31. The public meeting was at the Antonia Fire Protection District, 6633 Moss Hollow Rd., Barnhart, MO 63012.
Attendees were able to stop by at any time during the open house to view the project details and speak with Route M project team members. A formal presentation was not scheduled. Attendees also had an opportunity to provide feedback on the project by completing a comment form while at the meeting or online.
The purpose of this project is to improve safety of the traveling public along Route M, a four-lane divided highway, at the intersections of St. Lukes Church Rd. and Moss Hollow Rd. Proposed upgrades include constructing new J-turns and offset left turns, adding new lighting at J-turns and at intersections, and adding new signing and striping.

Interstate 70/Interstate 64/U.S. 40/61 interchange project public meeting Monday, August 22
The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold an open-house style public meeting for the Interstate 70/Interstate 64/U.S. 40/61 interchange project on Monday, August 22 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The public meeting will be held at the Wentzville City Hall Board of Aldermen meeting room located at 1001 Schroeder Creek Boulevard, Wentzville, MO 63385. No formal presentations will be made during the open house-style meeting. Attendees can stop by at any time during the meeting to view the project details and speak with the I-70/I-64/U.S. 40/61 interchange team. There will also be an opportunity to fill out a comment form to provide feedback.
The team analyzed the current interchange and during the preliminary design phase came up with over 12 potential designs. With input from a public survey conducted in January 2022, the team narrowed down the designs to a conceptual preferred alternative which will be shown at the public meeting in-person and online.

I-70 Cave Springs to Fairgrounds Design-Build Project Open House
The Missouri Department of Transportation, in partnership with St. Charles County, will hold an open house for the Interstate 70 Cave Springs to Fairgrounds Design-Build Project on Tuesday, June 28 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The open house will take place in room #105 at the St. Charles Convention Center, 1 Convention Center Plaza, St. Charles, MO 63303. Room 105 is in the lower level of the convention center.
No formal presentations will be made during the meeting. Attendees can stop by at any time during the meeting to view the design of the Zumbehl and Cave Springs interchanges, a new section of North Outer Road and project construction schedule and speak with the I-70 team. There will also be an opportunity to fill out a comment form to provide feedback.

Route 21 (Gravois to Schenk Road) public meeting
The Missouri Department of Transportation held an open house-style public meeting to share information about an upcoming project to update sidewalks and signals in St. Louis County, maintain bridges and resurface along the corridor, between Route 30 and Schenk Road near Otto in Jefferson County.
