Innovation Description and Benefit:

Instead of one person getting under a truck to grease the front U Joint and another in the driver’s seat (where they don’t have eye contact) to turn the truck off and on, this super simple access door allows the employee to stand up and have direct eye contact with the driver.  Plus, we don’t have to get on the floor, under the truck, so it is physically easier, and safer.  This innovation saves time and is safer because we do not have to get under the truck with a light and then get out from under it to communicate with the operator.  With the access door you can maintain eye contact and reduce risks.
