Innovation Description and Benefit:

The Traffic Site Mapping Tool, is a new and improved way to keep track of information on our permanent traffic counting sites. The tool updates site attributes, the status of the sites, and tracks any issues that sites have. The tool works alongside an interactive map that displays all of our permanent traffic sites across the state. The map displays real time data and any updates made with the tool are updated on the map instantly. Sites are displayed by status, so users can get a quick overview of which sites are working and which ones need some attention. Users are able to zoom and pan in the map to get an exact location of where the permanent site is located.
