Innovation Description and Benefit:

This innovation utilizes current MoDOT technology and information to provide a connection between Guardrail / Guard-Cable damaged and Police Reports. Current practices require Financial Service technicians to search through data manually. We are using GPS data from the police agencies and added GPS locations on our JOC work orders.  Then we compare the GPS locations and dates to provide the Financial Services technician with a best guess starting point.
