Innovation Description and Benefit:

St. Louis District needed something to enhance the visibility of our vehicles as we enter and exit the roadway.  The team came up with a high-visibility tailgate wrap that was installed on the rear of all our construction vehicles.  The tailgate wrap was comprised of high-vis blue/lime green stripes installed diagonally with the caption “CAUTION: FREQUENT STOPS” along with the MoDOT Emblem.  The Tailgate wrap is easily adaptable to all fleet makes and models.
