Innovation Description and Benefit:

This innovation consists of placing labels on streetlights. The labels will have route, controller number, voltage, lighting head wattage, and a number for the pole. This will be tied into TMS so we can better locate when customers call in what poles may be affected. This solution saves money and streamlines work by pinpointing the exact location of street light poles and controllers without the need for manual exploration. It provides information regarding wattage, voltage and GPS location, facilitating a quicker resolution. Additionally, it offers customers clarity by identifying whether the pole belongs to MoDOT in the event of an issue arising.
