Verifying that the correct size of rebar is installed on a project is critical for inspection and ensuring the correct rebar is used is crucial to building safe infrastructure. ReCon makes it easy to verify that the size of rebar being used follows the dimensions given in the plan set. It can be difficult to accurately measure rebar sizes with a tape measure in small, enclosed areas, and the markings on the rebar can often be hard to locate, confusing or misleading. The pocket-sized tool simply slips over rebar to determine what size bar is in place. Further, the small size of the tool easily allows it to be carried to the job site and fit in tight areas. Not only does this save time and simplify work but also improves safety by making it easier to verify rebar is in compliance with contract requirements.
