Innovation Description and Benefit:

The Tips and Tricks Library is specific to Southwest District Design but can easily be honed to any department looking for a solution to aid their employees in specific processes and providing guidance for troubleshooting issues.  It is a compilation of emails that are sent to all Design personnel, saved as pdf’s then filed in an organized fashion in the Design Wiki for future reference.  The innovation compiles How-To and Did-You-Know information.  It’s a simple solution to consolidate pertinent information.  The innovation assists with performance and has had a significant impact on our department since its implementation and employees are thankful the resource is available for them to utilize.  All the emails are sent directly from one designated employee who has the task of maintaining and organizing the library, but topics and processes can be submitted by all design personnel. The Tips and Tricks Library saves employees both time and money in wages allowing them to operate more efficiently.
